I think we must have the same dog. LOL
This sounds like our 2 greyhounds…one does the “face paw” while the other one whines…and we’re instantly wide awake. They’ve trained us well😆
Are you Awake? is the story of my kitty – PennyP – ( the final “P” is for perpetuity as she will be with us forever.). She wakes me up in the night about 2-3 times and she is “lonely” and wants me to sit with her and pet her and talk to her and then she goes back to sleep for about 3 hours. Wakes me not my hubby… We rescued her when she was about 2 years old and she even “tolerates” our doggie.
My cat Lexi does that to me but it freaks me out because she will be next to me and stare at me til I open my eyes or she will take one of her paws and gently putting my face and lick my face if I don’t respond to that it’s like she’s a athlete and takes stunning start and uses me as a pummel horse and Lands on me.so that I have to get up

Lol 🤣 my fur babies start with a whine and then rolling and if I’m still not up ,then they get right in my face and just stand there 🤣🤪 love them !

Brilliant pic and so very true. I get a paw on the nose from one fur baby, whilst the other sticks her cold nose in places it doesnt belong, the Cat used to sit on my chest, staring at me!

We have a small black Lhasa with a white goatee and white toes. So many times we experience the “are you awake? cartoon with her!!! Just as you’re drawn it, tapping one of us on the nose! Thank you for the chuckle!!
