I finally feel like winter is on its way for another year.
Don't know about the rest of you but I hate the long dark nights and seem to hibernate for a few months! At last the days are getting longer and we're looking forward to walks in the evening without full hi vis and a monster torch. Have also booked us a little break at the seaside.
what is everyone else looking forward to enjoying with their furbabies?

The sun is definitely stronger and I've been hearing cardinals singing their spring song. We just had a foot of snow fall here and it's really cold. The snow is very pretty but the cold just hangs on. I remember the days when March meant spring. Now it's May.
I get home at 5pm and right now it's cold - the ground is wet. If it's not raining i've been trying to play with Brick and his flirt pole - but it got so cold the other night my hand practically froze clenching the pole.
Can't wait for longer dry days. I can run him for 30+ minutes, feed him later, and he will sleep like a rock. Right now he's so bored.. and all games just result in more treats. Of course he's not complaining, but winter goes much longer and he's going to be a little tubbo!
We have been so lucky the last week or two has been like a mini spring in Europe with tempretures in high teens C.
I dont mind cold its the biting wind and rain I hate and they are two things we get a lot of!
Im looking forward to more walks, longer walks, new walks, picnic walks, seaside walks.....
My foot is a lot better than it was last year so Im allowed to start building up the length of time I walk too and by summer I should have no limits.. I love the idea of walking in spring and seeing all the new life both flora and fauna.
I am so ready for spring and sunshine!! It’s still snowing here 😔

We're due for super cold temps and more snow next week. Brrrr.
It’s supposed to snow here tomorrow 😔. But I’m looking forward to sunny days in the yard with Cocoa while we bbq.
The only bad thing about milder weather around here are the ticks. My area never used to have a problem, but with the climate changes they've come to stay. The first days over 40 degrees Fahrenheit and there they are.
We can't even go out into the yard without performing tick checks afterwards. They are rampant. I asked my vet if I could take the Simparica I have the dogs on. 😉 So far I've caught the ticks on me before they engorge, but it's nasty.
I hate ticks with a vengance.. Last year I needed to pee while on a long trek and did the ladylike thing popping behind a bush.. I got a tick in an unmentionable place! Never again... If I need to pee Im going in the middle of the path!!!
Murphy has never had a tick which surprises me given all the grass and reeds he charges through and the fact we know its deer country but we check him after each walk just to be sure.
Our weather has changed again now, after two weeks of wonderful sun our visitor left and since shes gone all we've had is fog and rain BAH
Note to self, don’t squat in the woods 😳
o no @mad-murphy that’s terrible!! I’m so scared of ticks they are the worst!!! Ugh!!!
@kitispie
I know a few people who have had the little boogers climb up to unmentionable places. 😖
Well the fair weather we had has been replaced by rain but its quite mild and we have some spring flowers...
Here are some from my garden to cheer you all up.
Wow @mad-murphy beautiful flowers 🌸 I can’t wait until spring gets here! Looks like we’re going to get +10c next week though! So exited!!
@kitispie
Ooo! Primroses! I love those. We're still snow-covered here but I hope temperatures above freezing are on the way.
