@AmongTrees it is pretty isnt it and Im surprised that they allow dogs in the gardens, I really hadnt expected dogs to be allowed so Ive never investigated it before but thanks to my book Ive found lots of very surprising places that we can go to.
So frustrating ... I had just taken a nice sunrise photo when what should scamper across our path but an otter, it was less than 20 yards away! Of course the camera wasnt focused or at the right setting so I missed it again.
However this little guy in all his finery almost made up for it...
Yesterday was stunning and we had a great walk with Murphy off lead and even got a family photo!
Today OH has man flu so it was just Murphy and me walking in a grey misty world but Mr Bitey bird was sitting waiting at the gate as we arrived and we like seeing him.
Then Murphy spent half the walk with his head down holes !
How’s everyone doing in this cold weather? We’re pretty lucky here in BC Canada it hasn’t been too too cold! Still cold but nothing crazy (around -10c) Today we had a super nice and sunny day and we went to play on a frozen lake. Nikita had a lot of fun:)
Hi there @MariaandNikita such lovely blue skies I love it. Do you use paw protection? Murphy has some for the very cold days and his feet are rinsed after every walk to get rid of mud and more imortantly the salt that is on roads and pavements ( people are very civic minded, they clear the path outside their houses and spread salt but its not good for the animals)
We had some lovely cold weather at the start of the year but as always it has gone downhill and is now the normal wet soggy stuff we are used to. Im not a fan of snow and ice maily because here in NL we are not equipped for it and people drive like idiots on summer tyres!!!
But a nice day with no wind and - 8 or - 10 is great for walking. Plus 10 with rain is miserable and makes me want to hide under the duvet.
