This was a wonderful video – thank you. I just lost my precious Suzy yesterday. My eyes are filled with tears and my heart is filled with pain. I know that you know how I feel because you expressed it in your beautiful “I will never let you go.” She was a rescue – no one wanted her because she was blind. I am so sorry that you lost Suzie. So many of us know just how you feel. You are a kind, humane to rescue a blind dog to give her a wonderful life. I’m sure Suzie appreciated every kindness and gave back all the love in the World. We never let go of those whom we love, Susan Waller Miccio.
My heart knows what you’re going thru. I lost my beloved Penny in May and I still miss her every day. You don’t get over it, but you do get through it. Our inability to completely protect and keep from illness the little ones we love is a painful part of the human condition. But take comfort in knowing that you gave the best you had to Suzie, and that she knew, without an inkling of doubt, that she was deeply loved. For that is the greatest gift we give to them, and in turn, the greatest gift they give to us. So think of Suzie as living in the hearts of those she touched…for nothing loved is ever lost.

That was amazing! Thank you! I lost my horse of 24 years yesterday. He was a big puppy at heart. I had him half of my life! He was my main man – in my life longer than any other, except Dad. Thank goodness for my pups and kitty.
