Please heed this morning. I lost my miniature dachshund because she ate a mushroom growing in the middle of our lawn. These poisonous mushrooms are not just deep in a forest. It didn’t take much and even though we were able to get her to vomit, it was too late for her. Seek veterinary care immediately if you notice your dog eating what appears to be a “normal” looking mushroom.

So important and so glad you created this PSA! Some years ago, I came home to my dog vomiting a very yellow bile substance – repeatedly – got her to the veterinarian and we can only surmise she may have ingested something poisonous. Thankfully, she survived! But so terribly scary!!!
