Awwww🥰🐶🥰🐶I have a 13 year old Puggle and a 10 year old Newfie/Lab and they are so wonderful and cuddly and my support after both of my parents passed away this year❤️🩹They have been there for me❤️🩹 and I am there for them🐶🐶
I don’t think of my senior like well worn slippers. We are seniors together, although I am much more worn at my age of 71. My yorkipoo Kissy Girl turned 16 this year and she needs medication because of her arthritic knees, but she is also losing her hearing, eyesight plus has developed some dementia. I think if us as growing old together at times and worry if she will be alive the next time I come home from an appointment. I was hospitalized this year and that fear was on my mind the entire stay. She still gets very excited after I brush her, but not so much while I brush her. She sleeps 80% of the time and paces 5% and lays on my lap 5%, leaving me 10% to groom her. I adopted a chihuahua mix, I named Peanut, from my local shelter that turned 7 this year. So now I have 2 senior dogs and it brought out a jealous streak in both Kissy Girl and Peanut.
I lost my beloved Pog in May of this year, She was nearly 15 and a half, and i have cried every single day,
Do you think it would be too soon to get a rescue dog,,My house isn’t a home any more.
We lost our 15-year-old lab recently. When it was time to find a new addition to our family, and a companion for our young lab, we thought about a puppy but decided there are old souls who need a home. We welcomed a 9-year-old lab and he is just the best. He’s loving, he naps well, he likes long walks and smelling all the new and good things our home offers. He’s fully trained and trustworthy. We just love him. I believe our beloved girl sent him to us to help heal our broken hearts.

That’s true. Seniors are a special kind of care but it’s worth it! My Helik is 15. I can’t imagine life without him!

We lost our sweet lab in June. We adopted a 9 year old lab at the beginning of October. Our heart continues to heal. So will yours.
